According to Extra Entertainment News Madonna and Guy Ritchie will be getting divorced on Friday, November 21st. They will be getting a so- called “quickie” divorce. They will final their divorce on Friday in London.
The proceeding will take place in a high court in London. This particular court does “quickie” divorces. Madonna wants a quickie divorce. She does not wish to be married to Guy any longer. This case is listed under the names Ciccone M L verses Ritchie G S. and the case will be heard before a judge in the High Court’s Family Division. They have to both attend the court. Even though in most high-profile celebrity cases both parties do not have to attend, but in this particular case they do. The couple will get divorced after being married eight years. They both have a joint fortune that is estimated to be worth around $525 million. No details have been made public yet as to who is getting what in the settlement.
It is also not certain how they will share custody of the children, Rocco who is the couple’s son, and then they have a son that was adopted in May from Malawi, David Banda, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, who is from a relationship with her fitness trainer Carlos Leon many years ago.
