According to Extra Entertainment News Jennifer Hudson has decided to go into hiding after the brutal murder of her mother, brother and her 7 year old nephew. She is very concerned for her safety. Hudson is not saying who in particular she is hiding from and who she is afraid of. No one knows if there was an actual threat made against her. She has been surrounding herself with bodyguards and is staying at a hotel and not mentioning to anyone what hotel or where she is.
The killings were the result of a domestic dispute between Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia, and her brother-in-law, William Balfour. He served time for attempted murder, and last Friday, October 24th he missed his parole meeting. This is the same day that Hudson’s mother and brother were shot. A nearby neighbor witnessed that the couple were fighting, and Balfour was making death threats toward Jennifer’s sister Julia. Balfour is being held on a parole violation, and he has been questioned about the murders. Extra Entertainment News reports that there may have been more than one person involved in the murders. There was a security camera at a high school parking lot that might help to identify the driver in the car that Balfour was in. The cell phone records show that Balfour was in another place.
Jennifer Hudson had to identify the body of her 7 year old nephew Julian King. Her nephew was found yesterday in a white SUV. She also had to identify the bodies of her mother and brother. This is totally tearing Jennifer Hudson apart. She has lost three very close people in her life all at once. Hopefully the police and investigators will find out who did this awful tragic killing, and maybe Jennifer Hudson could at least be at ease, instead on constantly being afraid and hiding.
