The child of Cher and the late Sonny Bono Chastity Bono will be transitioning from a female to a male as Chaz Bono. Transgender men are saying that they have an easier time being accepted and recognized as masculine than transgender women have being perceived as feminine. According to Extra Entertainment News “Testosterone is a very powerful chemical” and is said that when there is a female to male transgender it will really changes your body, and it usually makes it easier for people to accept you as a male.

Chastity has been exploring this idea in her mind for a while now, but wasn’t ready to make the decision. She never considered herself to be a lesbian. Chaz was turning 40, and believes that you only have one life to live so you have to be happy, and live it now or never. Her mom Cher accepted Chastity as she was, but Cher is a little worried as to how her daughter will come out as a man. Cher has been very supportive, this will be a very long process, but it is something that Chastity has been thinking about and has wanted to do for a very long time. This is Chaz’s true identity to be a man. He is very proud of this decision, and is very grateful that his loved ones especially his mom has been so understanding about the whole decision. He is hoping that the public will learn to accept him just as his “coming out” did almost 20 years ago. We shall wait and see what happens.
