According to Extra Entertainment News US chat host Larry King has filed for divorce from his seventh wife because of “irreconcilable differences”.
This marriage seemed to have lasted the longest in the double digits of 13 years. His wife Shawn Southwick, 50 also filed for divorce hours later, for the same reasons. They both have two children together. Two sons, ages 11 and 9.

Larry King’s lawyer said that he wanted to somehow keep this divorce amicable. This is Larry King’s seventh wife. He is now 76 years old, but it has been eight times that Larry King has filed for divorce. He was married to and divorced from ex-wife Alene Atkins. Shawn Southwick is trying to seek ownership of their home in Beverly Hills, California, as well as two more properties in Utah, and she is also trying to get spousal support. Larry King has asked the judge not to give his wife any spousal support whatsoever. He also called for an agreement which allowed for the transfer of property to her to be invalidated plus he is seeking joint custody of both their children, and meanwhile his wife wants sole custody. Larry King is very concerned of the welfare of his children. He has been a broadcaster on his hosed Larry King Live show on CNN since 1985.

Then there were rumors that Larry King was having an affair with his wife Shawn Southwick’s younger sister for several years. These rumors have now been becoming more powerful in the last six months according to Celebrity News. Shawn found out that her husband bought expensive gifts for her sister that apparently looks just like her. He bought her a $160,000 car, and lots of Cartier jewelry. Larry used a credit card to purchase these gifts and Shawn saw these on the statements. I think she was more upset because he bought her sister a diamond Cartier necklace, and she never got one from him. According to Extra Entertainment New Larry King is denying the affair.
